TRAINING TECHNICIAN (TITLE 32)
MILITARY REQUIREMENTS:
ENLISTED Since this position is temporary in nature, the compatibility requirements will be waived for a period of time not to exceed one year. Selecting official must verify that selected individuals are currently assigned to a military unit in the Missouri National Guard and that the selections do not create grade inversion. Technicians will not be militarily senior to their full-time supervisor (grade inversion). GENERAL
Experience:
Must possess one year on-the-job experience; education and validated understanding of the basic principles and concepts of this position; experience, education, or training that demonstrates your ability to follow directions, to read, understand, and retain a variety of instructions, regulations, and procedures and that otherwise demonstrates the ability to perform and learn to perform the duties of this position. GS-07 SPECIALIZED
Experience:
Must possess 12 months of specialized experience that demonstrates your ability to assist with the management of firing ranges, and training and bivouac areas, prepare lesson plans and organize periods of instruction for use and operation of a simulation center; prepare charts, map overlays and graphics required for operation and management of facilities; and gather data and prepare and submit reports. Basic knowledge of Army vision, values, organization, policy, and mission is mandatory. Experience conducting, supervising, or developing education or training programs; working programs to include developmental education, voluntary education, advanced academic education, promotion testing, and libraries; knowledge of audio-visual presentation, educational tests and measurements, and instructing techniques; scheduling training events and facilities; supporting assistance visits and training meetings; or assisting in work center and individual job qualification standard development; education institution registration requirements; and military personnel classification system and policies. GS-06 SPECIALIZED

Must possess 6 months of specialized experience that demonstrates knowledge of and skill in applying training rules, regulations and procedures; ability to perform administrative and clerical duties; and assemble data into proper format as directed by oral or written instructions. Experience conducting, supervising, or developing education or training programs; working programs to include developmental education, voluntary education, advanced academic education, promotion testing, and libraries; knowledge of audio-visual presentation, educational tests and measurements, and instructing techniques; scheduling training events and facilities; supporting assistance visits and training meetings; or assisting in work center and individual job qualification standard development; education institution registration requirements; and military personnel classification system and policies.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
